APACT x LEAP | Leading From Your Cultures and Values

Asian Pacific Americans at Caltech (APACT) is an employee resource group for staff, faculty, postdocs, and other working professionals at Caltech who self-identify as Asian American Pacific Islander with the goal of focusing on the following five main pillars: 1) professional development; 2) education, advocacy, and awareness; 3) affinity and being a safe space; 4) community outreach; and 5) celebrating AAPI heritage.

Join APACT (Asian Pacific Americans at Caltech) and LEAP (Leadership Education for Asian Pacifics) for "Leading From Your Cultures and Values," a workshop on leading authentically from your cultural identity and core values rather than setting them aside. Through guided reflection, participants will explore how their values shape their behaviors and how others perceive them, and will identify which behaviors enhance or limit their leadership at work.

This workshop, occurring on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM in 147 Noyes Lecture Hall, is being facilitated by LEAP, a national nonprofit advancing Asian and Pacific Islander leadership since 1982; and is open to all Caltech and JPL employees.
